Community members point out alleged drug dealer’s house

A 50-year-old South African man was detained at Eden Park police station after being charged with possession and dealing in illicit substances.

FOLLOWING information about a suspected drug-dealer in Palmridge, the EMPD Drug Unit members were able to arrest the owner of the house found with Mandrax tablets estimated to be worth R2 000 in the streets.

The arrest was made around 8pm on Thursday, 25 August.

The 50-year-old South African man was detained at the Eden Park police station after being charged with possession and dealing in illicit substances. He is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court today.
