Shot and wounded man found in Meredale

He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

ER24 paramedics were dispatched to Meredale, south of Johannesburg, to attend to a patient who had been shot earlier today.

When they arrived at the scene, paramedics found a man believed to be between his 20s and 30s lying in a bush between some houses.

He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown and further investigations are underway.
