Man shot in local garage

The man was followed from the bank and shot at the center.

On 03 September 2016 Fox control centre received a panic from Brackenview Convenient centre in Hennie Alberts Street, Brackenhurst. Reaction were dispatched and on arrival found that shots have been fired and someone was shot in the neck.

After further investigation they found that the person who was shot was followed from the bank and as he stopped at Engen garage to buy something they shot him in the neck and fled in a Silver Nissan Tiida (no registration yet) and a White Toyota Corolla reg DN38WGGP. National Paramedics were contacted and immediately dispatched .

Netcare 911 and ER24 arrived on scene to assist the shot victim. Trauma councillors were also dispatched to assist in counselling the victim and people who were on scene when the incident happened.

Please be on the lookout for the two vehicles and if seen please don’t hesitate to contact the control centre on 0118673770. Please also be aware they are armed and dangerous.
