THE Gauteng Flying Squad members recovered items thought to be stolen recently.
On Monday, August 22, at around 14:00, members of the Gauteng Flying Squad, assigned to the Germiston Unit, responded to information about a white Toyota Quantum stolen from Vosloorus. Information indicated the vehicle was in the area of Eden Park.
Along Daf Street in Eden Park, the team located the stolen vehicle on one of the properties.
On further investigation, members discovered multiple items including goods suspected to have been taken during a truck hijacking incident which occurred along the N3 highway in July this year. The recovered goods are of an estimated value of R1-million.
