THE body of a man was found on September 5 in a veld on the corners of Hallwach and Heavyside Roads in Vanderbijlpark. ER24 paramedics were called to the scene by local authorities after some children potted the body.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the body of a man lying in a small pool of blood in the middle of the veld. “On assessment, paramedics found that the man showed no signs of life and had apparently been dead for some time. Nothing could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on the scene,” said Russel Meiring, ER24 Spokesperson.
It is believed that a group of children, who had been playing in the area at the time, spotted the body and reported it.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
