A star is born

This little runner turned into a real cross-country star for Stoneridge Primary

A Grade Six learner at Stoneridge Primary is the star and pride of the whole school.

She has educators and learners behind her for support and she is a true cross-country champ.

Sue-Caiylin Korkie participated in the u.12 girls cross-country event at the provincial and district championships, where she obtained first place (gold).

In 2015 she took a third (bronze medal) at national level.

“On September 30 she will represent Gauteng in the nationals. We are 100 per cent behind her and we, as a school, are very proud of her and we wish her all the best in the future,” said the principal, Richard Carelse.
