A 53-year-old man was stabbed to death by his 28-year-old son on Saturday, September 10 at 14:15 in Leon Street, Eden Park.
According to the police statement, Eden Park SAPS received a complaint about a murder in Leon Street and upon arrival found the older man on the floor with a stab wound to his neck.
When the paramedics arrived, they declared the man dead and the suspect, his son, was arrested and detained at Eden Park SAPS. He had no signs of any injuries.
It is still not known what led to the stabbing. The suspect appeared in Palmridge Magistrate’s Court on September 13 and the case has been postponed until September 23.
