ABACUS Maths recently held their sixth competition, first regional, to gauge proficiency in mathematics.
The competition took place on Saturday, August 6, and offered up some great results, including silver and gold medals, as well as top ten placing for children from in and around Alberton.
Abacus Maths is a franchise, focused on creating a strong foundation in mathematics, from an early age, based largely on the Japanese abacus, which improves mental arithmetic, strengthening cognitive abilities, particularly in mathematics.
