Grace Daycare and Aftercare Nursery School in Randhart had the privilege of being visited by the Mobile Zoo.
On Monday, December 5, the children got to experience seeing and touching the animals (all of which are rescues), such as the baby chinchillas, iguanas, white hedgehogs, water turtles, golden macaw, tarantulas and many more.
The main focus of the Mobile Zoo is the conservation of and education about the animals and having fun while doing it.
During this unique opportunity the children got to learn about, see, touch and feel the very special animals. Fanie Barnardt, also known as “Professor Crawl” is a registered member of the Animal Rescue Team, specialising in spiders, scorpions, reptiles and small mammals, and just loves sharing his knowledge and expertise and also educating children on the care of these animals.
