Thieves target church

All the could find was a small portable radio and a few rolls of toilet paper.

On Sunday, January 15, thieves broke into the Methodist Church, in Eden Park, targeting the mobile classes used by the daycare centre.

The thieves must have been very disappointed after putting so much effort into their deed and then finding nothing of value to steal. All they could find was a small portable radio and a few rolls of toilet paper.

Not willing to settle for this and thinking they will find a bigger stash, the thieves returned on Monday and broke into the same classroom.

The community is convinced those responsible are nyaope addicts.

Eden Park SAPS is investigating.
