Homeowner shot in the leg

Be alerted.

AN ELANDSHAVEN resident ended up with a bullet in his leg after an armed robbery at Bonza Bay on Saturday, February 11 at about 23:00.

According to sources the perpetrators managed to escape by jumping the high walls to the highway side.

Alberton CPF and CPS Security were the first responders on the scene.

According to Tyrone van der Merwe from CPS Security, they received a panic signal from someone who heard gunshots. On their arrival they discovered that an armed robbery had occurred nearby.

“The owner who was shot is doing well, but the suspects are still out there,” Tyrone said.

CPS Security urged residents to be alert as crime is increasing.
