EKURHULENI has committed resources to construct world-class Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres within its boundaries.
One of the centres currently under construction is the Eden Park ECD Centre, erf 3586, ward 53. The centre will accommodate 120 children from poor backgrounds.
The project is at its initial construction phase, including excavation, earth work and setting up of foundation trenches.
It is anticipated that the project will be completed by the 2018/2019 financial year, says Metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe.
