Parents and son arrested for drug possession, dealing

Drug dealers are warned that Eden Park SAPS is coming for them "in full force".

A MAN, his wife and son were arrested on Wednesday, June 7 for possession of, and dealing in, drugs from their home in Studerbaker Street, Eden Park.

According to Capt Emmanuel Jele from Eden Park SAPS Criminal Investigating Department (CID), the police were alerted to activity at the house. When they arrived they caught the couple’s son busy selling drugs to a ‘customer’ and arrested both of them.

“When the police entered the house, we found a male person trying to destroy evidence which was seized from him and on further searching the house, we discovered more drugs and arrested both the husband and wife, together with their son and customer,” Jele said.

“This is the second time we have arrested the man for dealing in drugs and this is a warning to all drug dealers that we are coming at them in full force. “Things have changed and no loopholes for escape will be available,” he said.
