ALBERTON SAPS arrested 25 alleged suspects for their different criminal activities from July 7 to July 9 and they are detained in the Alberton SAPS holding cells.
They were arrested for:
- Two for assault (assault with the introduction to effect grievous bodily harm)
- Four for common assault
- Three for possession of drugs
- One for common robbery
- Four for possession of suspected stolen property
- Five for shoplifting
- One for trespassing
- Four for theft
“We also have a rape suspect in custody. The alleged suspect was staying in the same house with our victim. The man is behind bars and will be taken to the court of law to face his alleged criminal activities.
“This is a job well done by the members of Alberton SAPS, in conjunction with all those who assist in preventing crime in our area,” Capt Manare Ramotshela added.
