Thirteen arrested in two days

Alberton SAPS are fighting crime.

THIRTEEN suspects have been taken into custody for various criminal activities. They were arrested between August 11 and 13.

In one instance an Alberton SAPS officer suspected that a driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. He pulled the driver over and interrogated him.

“The man was arrested,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela from Alberton SAPS.

“In our area we leave no stone unturned. We do not have any room for criminals. Any criminal activities will be dealt with professionally. The arm of the law is too long – don’t come and bother us in our area or you will soon be behind bars,” Ramotshela declared.
