Bystanders alleged that the two men had a long history of misunderstanding each other.

ON August 20 at about 3pm, a 34-year-old man was stabbed to death at the corner of Opel and Passat streets near the AFM Church in Eden Park.

According to Eden Park SAPS they received a complaint about two men fighting near the AFM Church. One man was allegedly stabbed in the chest. The 34-year-old died on the scene. He was found with a deep wound in his chest.

Captain Vusi Mhlophe of Eden Park SAPS said the man was already dead when his officers arrived. “We arrested the perpetrator and two women of Passat Street for defeating the ends of justice when they tried to conceal the murder weapon. All three appeared in Palmridge Cout on August 22. Their second appearance is in September,” Mhlophe said.

Bystanders alleged that the two men had a long history of misunderstanding which was just the opposite of what their families had. The two families worship at the Anglican Church. Both families are devastated.
