INTERNATIONAL Teddy Bear Day was on September 8 and Junior Colleges Castillian would like to extend a friendly and heartfelt thank you to all Castillian parents, staff, family and friends who supported the day.
They donated “old” teddies and brought them to school between September 4 and 7. All teddies were donated to the Donald Gordon Hospital Children’s Cancer Unit as well as the children’s ward on the September 12.
“All our children had a fun Teddy Bears Picnic with their favourite teddy today to celebrate this special day. We thank everyone for their contributions.,” said principal Elizabeth Steenkamp.
