SPECIAL Operations Group (SOG) caught two criminals in the Alberton area on September 13 at about 6.45pm.
“We received a call from one of our sites regarding suspicious characters in a silver Honda,” said one of the officers. “Two Sog vehicles were dispatched and the suspects were apprehended.”
They found two laptops, car lock-breaking equipment and a damaged door lock in their possession. Both owners of the laptops were traced and ‘re-united’ with their belongings

The one laptop was taken in Bassonia and the other in Alberton when they broke into a vehicle through the passenger door and removed the laptops from the boot via the back seat.
The suspects were handed over to SAPS.
