SOG caught two suspects

Laptops were handed back to owners.

SPECIAL Operations Group (SOG) caught two criminals in the Alberton area on September 13 at about 6.45pm.

“We received a call from one of our sites regarding suspicious characters in a silver Honda,” said one of the officers. “Two Sog vehicles were dispatched and the suspects were apprehended.”

They found two laptops, car lock-breaking equipment and a damaged door lock in their possession. Both owners of the laptops were traced and ‘re-united’ with their belongings

FOUND: Two stolen laptops were found in their possession.

The one laptop was taken in Bassonia and the other in Alberton when they broke into a vehicle through the passenger door and removed the laptops from the boot via the back seat.

The suspects were handed over to SAPS.
