A JOINT operation between Alberton SAPS and other legal authorities including CPF and members from the City Council took place on October 5.
“This our way to fight crime in the area and we arrested three suspects,” said Capt Manare Ramotshela, Alberton SAPS spokesperson.
Two suspects were wanted on the Morphotouch biometric system. One of them was wanted in a rape case and the other one was wanted in two cases of fraud. A third suspect was arrested for possession of narcotics.
CPS Security, who was also involved in the operation, thanked everyone involved. According to Ramotshela people must report any criminal activities since these tip-offs can lead to positive arrests.
“There is no room for criminals in Alberton,” he said.
Report any form of crime to the Alberton SAPS on 011 861 6800 or to Ramotshela on 079 695 1319.
“Well done to everyone involved,” Ramotshela concluded.
