Donations made to children’s home

The "Randhart Rakkerertjies" of the school decided to take part in the Santa Shoebox initiative.

LAERSKOOl Randhart’s Zebra class donated a pile of gifts to Siyabonga Children’s Home in Albermarle recently.

On October 9, RECORD visited the Grade One class to see the collection and, boy, did they outdo themselves.

The “Randhart Rakkerertjies” of the school decided to take part in the Santa Shoebox initiative to give the children at the home a chance to get some lovely presents from jolly old Saint Nick this Christmas.

The gifts will be handed over to the children’s home at a ceremony at the Vaal Dam at the end of the month.
