It is still unclear how the accident occurred.

With the help of Emer-G-Med the driver of the Kia was admitted to Union Hospital. An EMPD member said a case of culpable homicide and negligent driving will be opened against her.
Some of the deceased’s friends were at the scene and they were in shock.

A bystander said: “There should really be a traffic light or a bump in the road or a stop sign here to slow drivers down because this is not the first accident that took place here. This is an industrial area and there are big trucks that move up and down this street. It’s very dangerous!”
The RECORD will follow-up with the investigation and be sure to notify readers of any further progress.
