ONE armed robber and rape suspect was recently arrested by Alberton SAPS.
It was alleged that on November 22 at about 7.15pm the victim was driving on the N12 highway and stopped for petrol at the nearest garage.
“On his way back from the filling station our victim was approached by the two suspects who pointed at the victim with a knife. “They took all his belongings and took him around a corner and sexually assaulted him,” said Capt Manare Ramotshela.
The police have arrested one of the suspects and one of them is still at large.
The team of crime fighting personnel in the area is searching for the other suspect.
