FOR the class of 2017 from Eden Park Secondary school, Liza Naudé (principal) had but one question: “What went wrong?”

The school had a lower pass rate than previous years. The pass rate for 2016 was 81 per cent and now in 2017 came down to 76 per cent which is five per cent lower.

“I am happy we have learners with distinctions but the overall pass rate is far lower than what we anticipated, which was 90 per cent,” said Liza.
