The pride of Eden Park Secondary

Eden Park Secondary had a five per cent drop in their matric pass rate.

ON the day the matric results were published, some candidates arrived at Eden Park Secondary to collect their results.

It was a sad day for the school with a five per cent drop in the pass rate from 81 per cent in 2016 to 76 per cent in 2017. The principal, Liza Naudé, congratulated those who passed and motivated and encouraged those who did not.

“Our top five learners made us proud. They are the pride and joy of the school and brought smiles to the educators. We are proud of our top learner Sefiso Khumalo who obtained five distinctions. Well done also to Samkulu Siwela with four distinctions and Melody Nguzele with one distinction.

“I urge other learners to please ask for a re-mark or check and register for supplementary exams,” Naudé said.
