Another criminal off the streets

Well done to Fox Security's tactical team.

ONE suspect has been apprehended after video footage from a nearby business confirmed the identity of the suspect that recently broke into a dance studio in Randhart.

A special operation was conducted in the early hours of January 26 by Fox Security’s tactical team after information was received of the suspect’s whereabouts. The suspect was spotted in Second Avenue at around 3.30am leaving the informal settlement. Their tactical team worked swiftly to apprehend the suspect.

ARRESTED: The suspect who broke into two businesses.

Upon further investigation it was established that the laptop stolen from the business was sold to someone in Van Riebeeck Avenue, Alberton North. The premises were searched by police but no item was recovered.

This same suspect was arrested on January 9 for another business break-in at Alberton Pharmacy in Van Riebeeck Avenue. It is not clear on why he was released.

He is currently being detained at Alberton Police Station

Well done to Stephen, Thinus, Kobus and Elowayne for the swift action taken.
