Thieves break into Eden Park Post Office

They could not open the strongroom to steal parcels and other valuable items.

ON Wednesday, March 21, two clerks at Eden Park Post Office checked and balanced their books before closing the office and everything was in place before they locked up.

However, when they opened the doors the following morning, everything was turned upside down.

The clerks reported they found the back door and the burglarproof gate were broke, which must have been where the burglars gained access to the Post Office.

The burglars took all the computers and monitors but luckily they could not open the strongroom to steal parcels and other valuable items.

Fingerprints were taken and Eden Park SAPS are investigating.
