TWO suspects brutally attacked an elderly man (69) in his office in Second Avenue Alberton North on March 16.
The suspects, both men armed with improvised knives, entered the premises around 7am. On seeing the owner of the property they attacked, they knocked his glasses from his face to prevent any retaliation.
They then proceeded to stab him repeatedly in the chest, shoulder and side. The victim also suffered a cut to the neck as the suspects attempted to strangle him.
The suspects fled the scene with a cellphone, laptop and the man’s glasses. The suspects were caught on various CCTV cameras fleeing up Second Avenue. The same two suspects are suspected of being involved in another incident in Verwoerdpark.
The suspects are wanted on grounds of attempted murder and armed robbery.
A reward of R5 000 is offered for information that can lead to the capture of these individuals. If you have information you can call 072 643 4513.
