Water savvy at Carnival City

The promotions team dished out branded plastic tumblers to people visiting the complex on the day.

CARNIVAL City joined the rest of the world on March 22 to celebrate World Water Day and inspire guests to be water savvy.

The promotions team dished out branded plastic tumblers to people visiting the complex on the day. World Water Day is celebrated in the same week as South African National Water Week, which was an awareness campaign by the Department of Water and Sanitation. It serves as a powerful mechanism for raising awareness of the need to conserve this precious and scarce natural resource.

“Water shortage impacts social, economic and environmental activities. It’s important to save water because there is no substitute. Do your part and be water smart. Make it a priority to save water at work and at home,” said Carnival City’s marketing manager Michelle Smith.
