JUNIOR Colleges Castillian recently introduced their new Make-a-Space classroom for their little ones, where they can experience a different and effective method of learning with the help of Mother Nature.
This new classroom allows teachers and learners to learn about and understand the world around them. Various natural elements are featured in this classroom, which is available for learners to research and investigate.
The teachers are very excited about this classroom, as it will give learners the “best of both worlds”. Firstly, it will encourage them to go outside and collect leaves, stones, rocks, feathers and twigs. Secondly, they can investigate these objects with the help of various technologies. Thirdly, they can engage with their peers and collaborate on their findings.
The Junior Colleges Preschools Group’s general manager, Christo de Wit, inaugurated the new Make-a-Space room and mentioned he is excited to see the little ones reap the benefits that this unique learning space will offer.

Junior Colleges Castillian sees themselves as trendsetters and leaders in the early childhood development industry as they embrace these modern learning methods. Elizabeth Steenkamp, principal of the school, thanks the Junior Colleges family for their dedication in embracing this new project.
