Newborn’s body found in Mayberry Park

SAPS and NPS were on the scene.

THE body of a newborn baby was found in a plastic bag on July 8 in Alberton.

According to Chantal Peel, paramedic from National Paramedical Services (NPS), they reacted to a scene in JG Strydom Road in Mayberry Park where a baby was dumped.

“It is not clear on what happened and who dumped the baby, but legal authorities will investigate the matter,” she said. As soon as the gender of the baby is revealed, it will be published. SAPS and NPS were on the scene.
