EMPD drug unit nabs suspected drug dealer

The man was arrested at a house in Rolls street, Eden Park.

A SUSPECTED Cat dealer was nabbed with drugs in Eden Park on Thursday, August 9 at about 10.15am.

EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members acted on information from a source in Eden Park that led to a male suspect in possession of the drug Cat valued at R4 000 on the streets being arrested.

The address provided by the source in Rolls Street was visited and the metro police uncovered 10 ziplock bags of Cat. The 26-year-old occupant of the house was arrested and detained at Eden Park Police Station.

He is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of possession and dealing in an illicit substance.
