Man arrested for being in possession of Cat

An Eden Park man was arrested when he was found to be in possession of R3 200 worth of Cat.

ACTING on information from a reliable source, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members were able to arrest a male suspect in Eden Park found in possession of the drug Cat on August 17. The arrest took place around 7am.

Armed with the address, the description of the suspected drug dealer and how he operates, the metro police pounced on the house on Lavender Street where a 34-year-old, in possession of Cat valued at R3 200, was arrested. Additionally, the metro police confiscated cash amounting to R80 suspected to be proceeds from the illicit business.

The suspect was detained at Eden Park Police Station on possession of and dealing in an illicit substance. He is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
