Melonique Klassen murder case trial postponed

The trial of the man accused of shooting Melonique Klassen is postponed till August 29.

The bail application for the suspect accused of murdering Melonique Klassen has again been postponed. He stands accused of shooting Klassen seven times on March 23.

The accused appeared in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on August 20, but the application had to be postponed by the judge due to a shortage of prosecutors available on the day.

The accused remains in custody and will appear in court again on August 29 for his formal bail application.
