Hijackers still at large

Brackendowns SAPS managed to track down a hijacked vehicle but the hijackers remain at large.

ON September 11 a hijacking was reported at Brackendowns SAPS.

The complainants were accosted by two men who pointed firearms at them in Albertsdal, and took their vehicle.

A full description of the vehicle that was stolen was given to the police. The police drove to Thokoza to search for the stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was discovered parked outside a church building in Thokoza. The suspects were nowhere to be seen.

“Brackendowns detectives are investigating a case of hijacking, and suspects are still at large,” said Sergeant Lindi Moloi, spokesperson for the Brackendowns SAPS. “We urge community members to be vigilant when approaching their homes.”
