
EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a Katlehong man found to be in possession of Cat.
The arrest took place on November 16 when officers acted on a tip-off from the community.
Officers raided the home of the 36-year-old suspect on Mlangeni Street where the officers discovered a total of 58 ziplock bags of Cat with a street value estimated at R13 400.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Katlehong North police station on charges of possession and dealing in narcotics.
He is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on November 19.
