CPS Security’s control room received a duress call on November 26 from a resident in Fifth Avenue in Alberton North requesting help as a suspect was spotted on their premises.
They immediately dispatched their tactical team and on arrival found the suspect hiding on a nearby property. He was arrested and handed over to Alberton SAPS.
Stolen items and drugs were found in his possession.
