SAPS makes 60 arrests throughout Ekurhuleni

According to the spokespersons all the suspects will appear in courts throughout the cluster soon.

THE Ekurhuleni West Policing Cluster stations had several operations over the weekend from November 30 till December 2.

According to Capt Manare Ramotshela and Capt Lesetja Mathobela, speaking on behalf of the Ekurhuleni West Cluster head Maj Gen Ouma Korae, the operations managed to bring 60 suspects to book.

The suspects were arrested for various criminal activities which include murder, common assault, armed robbery, common robbery, possession of drugs, possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition, fraud, dealing in liquor without a license, rape, driving under the influence, using a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and domestic violence.

According to the spokespersons all the suspects will appear in courts throughout the cluster soon.
