Ex addict slams druggies in Alberton
Motorists slammed on breaks and found a spot to park in Louis Trichardt Street, Alberton amused by the words painted on a wall.
ALBERTON – Andre, an Alberton resident painted the walls of his house red paint to point out that he has had enough with drugs, women who sell their bodies for drugs and Nigerians running the community of Alberton.
Motorists slammed on breaks and found a spot to park in Louis Trichardt Street, Alberton amused by the words painted on the walls, “No more drugs in Alberton, No more Nigerians, kill your own kids.”
Many community members also encouraged him.
“I was a drug addict for 18 years and the drugs are killing our youth! I have a child of 13 and I do not want him or his cousins going through the same as what I did,” said Andre passionately.
He will also be putting up a board protesting against drugs, drug dealers, Nigerians and women who sell their bodies for drugs. Parents and families must start standing together to fight the infestation of drugs in Alberton.
These types of people, and there are a lot, are everywhere and Alberton is becoming worse than Germiston, Hillbrow and Rosettenville put together. I have been an addict and know about these things.
Andre is going through rehab and said that enough was enough! In the communitys eyes drug addicts are wrong, in the prisons you are killed where to if not rehab? Men cannot buy drugs because it is wrong but somehow it is acceptable for women to sell their bodies.
“If people come and paint over my wall, I will paint it again!” said Andre. Although Andre’s mother is upset with him for painting the entire wall, she supports him all the way.
Andre overdosed 10 times in his life, was shocked with taser guns, left on the highway, his house was raided and left in a mess with half of his belongings stolen and still nobody found any drugs on him.
“I am hoping that the public will notice my wall and stand together to stop the flow of drugs. I want everybody who drives past to see it,” concluded Andre.

I have a son that was or maybe is still on drugs he has cost us to loose everything we had, he was now resendly doing 9 months in prison, released two weeks, and I don’t know if he is using again or not I am just waiting for the call to ask come and help me, I moved out of Rosettenvile to Alberton for what, I have so many parents letters we wrote to another publication have all the correspondense if you really want to see how bad the drug abuse is, and our cops not interested. Nothing can stop these drug dealers they will eventually ruin our next generation, the epidemic is worse than the HIV!!!!!!!!!!!!
