Defence lawyer ill, Pietropaolo murder case postponed

VINCENZO Pietropaolo reappeared in the Johannesburg High Court on February 4.

The double murder case against Pietropaolo has been postponed to February 20 due to the defence attorney being off sick.

In 2017 and in 2018, the RECORD reported about the double murder case and most of its proceedings.

Pietropaolo is accused of murdering his estranged wife, Mannie, firing nine shots at her, at her home in Iris Street, Brackenhurst, in 2017. The couple had been separated for three years before Mannie’s death.

is also accused of murdering his father. Pietropaolo remains in custody.
