ELIAS Mokoena appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on April 4 to face charges relating to an assault outside of the Alberton Home Affairs office.
The state withdrew the case against Mokoena due to the plaintiff in the case not signing the subpoena to appear in court and then not appearing on the day despite saying she will.
The state withdrew the case, according to the magistrate, due to the disinterest shown by the plaintiff in pursuing the matter.
