At around 01:30 – 03:00 in the morning of December 17, a car knocked over a 22-year-old male who lived at Phola Park extention 2.
The police, photographers (police sector) and a mortuary van were called out from Eden Park to attend the scene of the K146 road incident.
The body of which was left for around nine hours was reported by an anonymous community member who called the 112 SAPS toll-free number.
The body was then taken away around 14:00-15:00.
The case was opened up at Eden Park SAPS as: Hit and Run 146-12-2013.
