Junior College learners take to the stage

The learners of Junior Colleges Castillian made their parents proud at their annual eisteddfod.

LEARNERS of Junior Colleges Castillian made their parents proud at their annual eisteddfod, where they were awarded gold or silver certificates for their performances.

The children participated in age groups from three to six years.

Each group had a poem to recite in front of an audience of parents and adjudicators.

The poems varied in difficulty in accordance with the age group and varied in topics from animals, happiness to all kinds of shenanigans.

“You can see how they improve as they move up in the age groups. They get more confident as they get older,” said Trudie Gilmore, principal of Junior College Snuggles.

“Congratulations, children. We are so proud of each of you.”
