Murder accused Dave Ridgway back in court

Lack of representation means the case is postponed until mid-February.

ALBERTON – On January 13 at Palm Ridge Magistrates Court, Dave Ridgway attended another court hearing as a continuation of the case late last year for allegedly having shot Peter Robertson.

Dave Ridgway was officially charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder. The matter is postponed to February 19, because the accused requested legal representation.

Warrant Officer Meintjies says, “The family do not want to comment at this stage.” The only comment received was that they wanted justice served.

The case is still under investigation, but the parents would like to thank the family and friends for their continuous support, says Warrant Officer Meintjies.
