Murder trial of accused Romano Mitchel postponed due to power outage

The murder trial of accused Romano Mitchel was postponed till August 19.

ROMANO Mitchel, the man who stands accused of the murder of Stephan Jacobs, was set to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on August 7. The normal proceedings of the court were, however, disrupted due to a power interruption due to switchgear maintenance at the Fefakabolea Substation which is affecting areas in Palm Ridge.

Matters at the court were heard in the chambers in absence of the accused and postponement dates were assigned for the accused to appear.

Mitchel will appear on August 19 for court proceedings to resume.
