MEC Creecy opens new school in Palm Ridge

Wednesday January 15 was a busy first day for schools in Palm Ridge and Eden Park with visits from the Gauteng MEC for Education, Barbara Creecy.

EDEN PARK – She attended the official opening of Lebohang Primary School in Palmridge with clr R Pienaar acting as her guide.

The MEC visited Eden Park Secondary where she made some few random inspections and took an opportunity to address the matriculants in the Life Science Class.

“We were honoured to have the Education MEC at our school. Her main purpose was to congratulate us for our outstanding high matric pass rate of 94.9 per cent.

“She had high praise for our educators, school management team and the school’s governing body under the chairmanship of pastor GG Williams,” said B Louw, the school’s principal.
