MEMBERS of the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a male suspect on Radio Road on August 13.
The 38-year-old suspect was arrested around 5pm.
Officers’ suspicions were peaked about the suspect when the suspect became uneasy when patrolling officers approached him.
The suspect was stopped and searched and the officers found 15 knotted plastic bags containing nyaope with an estimated street value of R1 000.
The suspect was arrested and charged with possession and dealing in narcotics.
