Michael Baxter received the Bracken High achiever of the year award.
He received the award based on his achievements in academics, culture and sport at the school.
Michael holds the position of top Grade 12 academic with an average above 89 per cent and received five subject awards.
Apart from excelling in sports, especially tennis, Michael received the coveted McKelvin award for his dedication and loyalty to Bracken High sport.
Michael is also the first learner in the history of the school to be re-awarded the prestigious white honour blazer.
