The market, which was attended by many, took place between October 25 and 26 at the Brackendowns school. The Christmas market’s fund-raising event offered residents and those who attended enjoyable moments.
The day’s event had a fun-filled programme which catered for both young and old, packed with musical performances to having Honour Wrestling Association wrestlers entertaining attendees. The venue had business stalls at which people could either buy a mouth-watering dish or anything on offer on the day.
Leanda Otto, owner of the school, said through the fund-raising event they will get new resources for their learners.
“With the proceeds, we will get our learners learning material for in class. We will also have the teachers go on training, to improve the school’s ground and new classrooms. We also wanted to give our parents a chance to spend some time with their children outside the classroom,” she said.
