Gauteng School Sport Awards relaunched

The official relaunch of the Gauteng School Sport Awards took place at Wits University in co-operation with the Gauteng Department of Education.

GAUTENG – The provincial school sport awards were last held in 2002. At the relaunch, MEC Maile has expressed his intentions to turn the awards into one of the important events, consistent with the annual glory of the Gauteng Sport Awards.

Nominations for the Gauteng School Sport Awards opened on 9 December and finalists will be announced on February 7, with the main awards event scheduled for 21 February 2014.
