EDEN PARK – Uncle Kell’s bottle store at Stalls near the old shopping centre was raided by the police on Thursday February 6 and all the liquor was confiscated.
Captain Mhlophe said they are busy raiding all illegal and unlicensed taverns and so-called bottle stores operating in the area and this was one of those.
He further alleged that some of these businesses operate with licences not obtained from the Liquor Board and are suspiciously fake.
